Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Gary Reichhold received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley. He then attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco where he received his DDS degree in 1987. He graduated with honors and was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Reichhold trained in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of California, San Francisco where he graduated in 1989. When Dr. Reichhold is not at the office he enjoys traveling, gardening, fishing, Giants baseball, Cal football and Warriors basketball!
Dr. Ricky Vargas is originally from Modesto, California. He attended Holy Names University, where he graduated Cum Laude and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2009. He attended UCSF School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) in June of 2016, and then continued his education at UCSF earning his Masters of Science degree in Oral Biology and Craniofacial Sciences and his Certificate in Orthodontics in 2019.
Outside of orthodontics, Dr. Vargas’s biggest hobby is spending time with his family.
Dr. Vargas also has a passion for soccer. He started playing at a young age and continued playing on scholarship through college where he helped lead his team to four consecutive league championships. Afterwards, Dr. Vargas played in the Professional Developmental League in New Orleans before attending dental school. Dr. Vargas has always had a passion for orthodontics and loves working with both children and adults. He is very excited to be a part of our team and is looking forward to working with you and perfecting your smile.
